One item from Autumn Winter 2022 collection that beautifully illustrates this principle is the ’Convincing’ coat, a garment whose silhouette is redolent of an earlier time in which femininity was represented by a particular outline.
It is a long, full, fitted style with a waistline emphasised by a wide self-fabric belt. The distinctive shape is created by folding the fabric into deep, soft pleats that are held in place and released at strategic points to create volume and drape.
